Clinical Significance

DPPX Receptor Antibody, CBA - Dipeptidyl peptidase-like protein 6 (DPPX) is a regulatory subunit of voltage gated potassium channels in neurons of the central nervous system. Antibodies to DPPX have been associated with agitation, confusion, amnesia, delirium, allodynia, myoclonus, rigidity, tremor, exaggerated startle, ataxia, dysphagia, dysarthria seizures, psychosis, depression, sleep disturbance, respiratory failure and unexplained diarrhea, gastroparesis constipation, bladder dysautonomia, and abnormalities in cardiac conduction and thermoregulation.
