| Patient preparation | Fasting required. Fasting is defined as no consumption of food or beverage other than water for at least 8 hours prior to collection. |
| Preferred specimen(s) | 1 mL serum |
| Minimum volume | 0.5 mL |
| Collection instructions | Serum submissions must be separated from cells |
