Clinical Significance

CEBPA Mutation Analysis, Extracted DNA - Accurate testing for CEBPA mutations is important for identification of the prognostically significant AML subtype, especially CN-AML. AML with mutated CEBPA is a provisional disease entity in the 2008 World Health Organization classification of leukemias. CEBPA constitutes a key prognostic AML panel together with FLT-3 and NPM1.
