Clinical Significance
Phenobarbital - Phenobarbital is an anticonvulsant used for the long-term treatment of generalized tonic-clonic (grand mal) seizures and cortical focal seizures. Phenobarbital levels are monitored to assure adequate therapeutic levels are achieved and to avoid toxicity.
