Hepatitis D Virus (HDV) Antibody, Total - Hepatitis D Virus (HDV) infection occurs only in association with Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) infection. A positive result for HDV total antibody may indicate acute infection, chronic infection, or past infection with recovery.
