| Preferred specimen(s) | 2 mL urine collected in a plastic container |

| Collection instructions | Collect a random urine specimen (early morning preferred). 1. Patient's age is required. 2. Reason for referral is required. 3. Biochemical Genetics Patient Information (T602, in Special Instructions) is recommended. This information aids in providing a more thorough interpretation of results. Send information with specimen. 4. If not ordering electronically, Biochemical Genetics Patient Information (T602, in Special Instructions) is required. Send information with specimen. |
