Clinical Significance

Immunofixation (IFE) and Immunoglobulins Panel (IgG, IgA, IgM), Serum - Immunofixation is useful in characterizing M components identified by protein electrophoresis. Quantitation of immunoglobulins provides an assessment of the magnitude and measure for monitoring the M component.
